As of 2026, you can no longer pay with iDEAL at Mokana Meubelen. Instead, you will effortlessly switch to Wero, the new European payment system that completely replaces iDEAL. For everyone who buys furniture online with us, this means a modern, fast and secure way of paying - simply through your own bank.
At Mokana, we will of course keep you informed of this change, so that soon you will be able to purchase your furniture with Wero just as easily and confidently.
For years, iDEAL has been the standard for secure payments in the Netherlands. But starting in 2026, that will change. Major European banks, such as ING, Rabobank and ABN AMRO, are jointly introducing Wero: a payment system that enables instant payments throughout Europe.
Wero is designed to be used not only in the Netherlands, but throughout Europe - also convenient for those who order their furniture in Belgium or Germany.
Payment will soon work as you are used to: you select your bank, confirm in your own banking app, and your payment is completed immediately.
The ordering and payment process in our webshop remains largely the same. Only you will no longer see the iDEAL button, but choose instead for Wero. This allows you to pay for your order quickly and safely through your familiar banking environment.
