When ordering furniture, you naturally want to know what to expect. That's why we clearly explain how shipping and delivery work at Mokana Furniture. From delivery time to delivery date—you'll find all the practical information you need in one place.
Shipping & delivery of small packages
Are you ordering a smaller item via our webshop? Then we will ship your package with DHL or Packs. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a Track & Trace code from us that allows you to easily track the delivery. In most cases, your package will be delivered the next business day, unless otherwise stated with the product.
Shipping & delivery of large furniture items
For large orders, we use our own delivery service. This allows us to keep the process personal, flexible, and reliable.
Our delivery drivers deliver to:
- Netherlands
- Belgium
- Germany
As soon as your order is in stock, we will schedule a suitable delivery time with you. Depending on where you live and the delivery routes, this can be done quickly. Do you have a preferred delivery day? Feel free to let our sales advisors know—we are happy to help.
How does delivery by Mokana Furniture work?
- Delivery with one delivery person: In most cases, Mokana Meubelen delivers with one delivery person. For large or heavy furniture, we kindly ask you to help with unloading.
- Two delivery personnel if necessary: Sometimes it is necessary to deliver with two delivery personnel. We always coordinate this with you in advance.
- We will call you 30 minutes before arrival to let you know we are on our way.
- Deliver later? No problem. Would you like to receive your order at a later date? Please indicate this when placing your order.
Delivery to your door (or beyond)
Our delivery staff will deliver your order to your home—if possible. Is there sufficient space, a wide passageway, and possibly an elevator available? Then we will place your furniture in the desired location. If that is not the case, we will deliver to the front door.
We offer additional services for orders from the home furnishings store:
- The order will be placed and assembled on site.
- Packaging materials are cleaned up and taken away.
- Delivery to upper floors is possible if there is an elevator.
- No elevator? Then we will discuss what is feasible.
Please note: Webshop items are delivered only. Assembly is not included with these orders.
Important delivery terms and conditions
To ensure everything runs smoothly, we ask you to take the following into account:
- The delivery driver must be able to park in front of the door.
- Assistance with unloading is expected if there is only one delivery person.
- For online orders, you are responsible for the packaging material.
- For showroom purchases, the delivery person will take the packaging material with them.
- Damage to walls or floors is covered by your own insurance. Make sure that passageways are clear and protect your floor or walls if necessary.
If the delivery person is unable to deliver the furniture due to an obstacle or a passageway that is too narrow, for example, we will deliver it as far as possible. In exceptional cases, we will take the item back with us and schedule a new delivery. This will be charged again.
Shipping & Delivery to the Wadden Islands
Do you live on one of the Wadden Islands? You can still order from us. We deliver to an agreed location on the mainland. For the final leg to the island, you will need to arrange your own delivery service. Our logistics colleagues will coordinate this process with you and, where possible, bundle deliveries in the same region for an efficient route.
