The filament of your light source is available in a rod or spiral form. This is particularly obvious with the larger light sources. So choose a filament that you like and that suits the lamp. You will see that even within the rod and spiral filaments there are differences in shape and size, so be surprised!
Many of our light sources are LED bulbs, a trend that has been and will continue for years. This is because LED lamps are energy-saving, good for the environment, maintenance-free and have a long lifespan. So a good choice!
Want to be able to control how brightly the lamp burns? Then go for the dimmable light sources. Then you can control what atmosphere you give off with your lamp. Handy if you want to read a book and need light or if you want to dim the lights while watching a movie. Check the specifications of the light sources for the possible dimmer modes.
Not every light source fits every socket, nor is the color and strength of a light source always the same. For fittings, it may be an E14 or an E27, and so they will not fit on the wrong fitting. Furthermore, you can also choose the luminous intensity, the lumens, for the power of the light source. Finally, for the color temperature, Kelvin is used as an indicator.
