When ordering furniture, of course you want to know where you stand. That's why we clearly explain here how shipping & delivery works at Mokana Furniture. From delivery time to delivery slot - you'll find all the practical information in one place.
Shipping & delivery of small packages
Do you order a smaller item through our webshop? Then we will ship your package with DHL or Packs. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you a Track & Trace code so you can easily follow the delivery. In most cases your package will be delivered the next working day, unless otherwise stated with the product.
Shipping & delivery of large pieces of furniture
For large orders, we use our own delivery service. This is how we keep the process personal, flexible and reliable.
Our delivery drivers deliver in:
- Netherlands
- Belgium
- Germany
Once your order is in stock, we will schedule a convenient delivery time together. Depending on where you live and the delivery routes, that can be fast. Do you have preferences for a delivery day? Feel free to let our sales advisors know - we're happy to think with you.
How does delivery by Mokana Furniture work?
- Delivery with one delivery driver: In most cases, Mokana Furniture delivers with one delivery driver. For large or heavy furniture, we kindly ask you to help unload.
- Two delivery drivers if needed: Sometimes it is necessary to deliver with two delivery drivers. We always coordinate this with you in advance.
- 30 minutes before arrival we will call you so you know we are on our way.
- Deliver later? No problem. Would you like to receive your order at a later time? Please indicate this when placing your order.
Delivery to your home (or beyond)
Our delivery drivers will deliver your order right to your home - if possible. Is there enough space, a wide passage and possibly an elevator available? Then we will place your furniture at the desired location. If not, we will deliver to the first front door.
For orders from the home store, we offer additional service:
- The order is placed and assembled on location
- Packaging materials are cleaned up and taken away
- Floor delivery is possible in the presence of an elevator
- No elevator? Then we see what is feasible
Please note: Webshop items are delivered only. Assembly is not included with these orders.
Important delivery terms
For everything to run smoothly, we ask that you consider the following:
- The delivery driver must be able to park in front of the door
- Help with unloading is expected when one delivery driver arrives
- For online orders, you are responsible for your own packaging materials
- For showroom purchases, the delivery driver takes the packing material with him
- Damage to walls or floors is at your own risk. Make sure passages are clear and protect your floor or wall if necessary
Can the delivery driver not deliver the furniture due to an obstacle or too narrow a passage, for example? Then we will deliver to where it is possible. In exceptional cases, we will take the item back with us and schedule a new delivery. This will be charged again.
Shipping & Delivery on the Wadden Islands
Do you live on one of the Wadden Islands? Then you can also order from us. We deliver to an agreed location on the mainland. For the last leg to the island, you need to use your own delivery service. Our logistics colleagues will coordinate this process with you and, where possible, bundle deliveries in the same region for an efficient route.
